All Impulse Dance Academy students are offered several performance opportunities throughout the season. We strongly encourage performance as an important aspect of dance training. The experience of performing helps build self-esteem and confidence, which can result in better stage presence, improved leadership ability, enhanced social skills and more. The rehearsal process is a tremendous learning experience as well. It helps the children develop retention skills, and by working with their classmates on a group performance, they learn the positive aspects of collaborating as a team to create the best end result.

While we know that the standard in dance is to traditionally have one Spring Recital at the end of the season for dancers, we believe that offering a variety of performance experiences throughout the season helps them to expand their dance education. From local community performances, to full scale recital events, your dancer will have the opportunity to showcase their hard work on stage!
