PARENT PARTNERSHIP
Our passionate parents at Impulse Dance Academy are the backbone of the organization, assisting with recitals, organizing special events, selling popcorn, applying make-up and many other crucial roles. Check out some of the awesome ways to get involved at the studio!
SPRING DANCE RECITAL
Whether you have a little or a lot of extra time, we have room for our parents to volunteer at our performance events!

DRESSING ROOM ASSISTANTS
Help our performers backstage with costuming needs and placement for dance entrances. This role is assigned by the Director and requires some previous experience.

BACKSTAGE PROP ASSISTANTS
We're always looking for a helping hand backstage with props, set design and curtain close throughout the show. Join our team of volunteers to get involved!

THEATER USHERS
Includes executing a variety of "Front of the House" functions during the event including guest services, concessions and merchandise sales.

FUNDRAISING
Need help with dance costs? Let our Annual Popcorn Fundraiser help get you there! Here’s your opportunity to raise funds for your dancer to assist with costume costs, and recital tickets (Tuition payments not applicable).
FAMILY MOVIE OUTING
Popcorn, Movies, and Fun for the whole family! Impulse Dance Academy hosts an Annual Family Movie outing at Emagine Movie Theater! Grab your friends and family to join us for some good ole' fashioned family fun!
HOLIDAY SHOWCASE
The holiday season is a perfect time to reflect and seek out ways to make life better for those around us. Each season we give back to our community by participating in our Annual Senior Nursing Home Performance!
FATHER & DAUGHTER PERFORMANCE
Calling all dads to the Stage! Here’s your chance to be a part of a memorable event that will create lasting memories for you and your dancer! Dancers can also have an uncle, brother, grandfather, or close male family friend perform with them if desired! Dancers rehearse in the Spring and hit the big stage during the Annual Spring Dance Recital!
MOMMY & ME PERFORMANCE
It's Mom's time to shine! Participate in our Mommy & Me Performance where you and your dancer can share the stage and spotlight together! Dancers can also have an aunt, sister, grandmother or close female family friend perform with them if desired. Dancers rehearse in the Spring and hit the big stage during the Annual Spring Dance Recital!
