DANCERS GET READY…COMPANY AUDITIONS ARE COMING!

 

Looking to take your dancer’s training to the next level? Well look no further! Our Tutu Cute Performance Company is designed to introduce dancers ages 5 & up to elite training and performance opportunities!

 

• AUDITION DATE: Wednesday, July 8, 2026

 

• TIME: 5:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. (Ages: 5 - 7) | 5:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. (Ages: 8 & Up)

 

• LOCATION: Arts & Activities Bldg. | 26000 Evergreen Rd. | Southfield, MI 48076

 

• ATTIRE: Dancers should dress in black leotard, suntan tights and bring all
  dance shoes available + bottled water

• AUDITION FEE: $20.00 (submit your cash fee onsite)​

• CHOREO: Choreography and technique needed for auditions will be taught.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN TUTU CUTE “MINI” COMPANY?

​

• Dancers must be between the ages of 5 – 17 years.

• To be a part of company, dancers must attend an audition session that reviews the dancer’s age, ability, technique, strength, performance skill, experience, attitude, work ethic, teamwork, and maturity level.

• NOTE: Must have at least 1 full year of “IMPULSE Dance Studio” training

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS OF A COMPANY DANCER?

​

• Minis: Must be willing to commit to weekly class times and rehearsals (1x per week - Tues, Wed)

• Jr/Teen: Must be willing to commit to weekly class times and rehearsals (1x per week - Tues, Wed or Thur, Sat)

• Must be willing to train during the summer months (1x per week- Tues, Wed)

• Must be willing to commit to production rehearsals (periodically held – Sat, Sun)

MANDATORIES

​

• Must have good attendance and be timely to scheduled rehearsals

• Must be willing to travel both regionally and nationally

​​

 

CLASS CURRICULUM

​

• Minimum Class Requirements – Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop

• Assigned Production Dance Number for the season

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER AUDITIONS?

 

• Within 5- 7 days after auditions are held, parents will be notified of the audition results via email.

• Dancers selected for the 2026-2027 dance season will receive a summer/fall dance schedule and the parent orientation meeting date.

• Dancers not accepted into the company program will be provided recommendations to strengthen their technique and are welcome to continue training in our recreation program in preparation for entry into the company the following season.
